MassEVolves Recognizes Leaders in Our State

Top companies and others in Massachusetts are driving towards clean transportation. MassEVolves is a state program recognizing their work in supporting the use of zero emission vehicles for their operations, employees, and communities.  MassEVolves participants have created a ZEV action team and plan that includes implementing one or more ongoing programs to help more people gain access to clean transportation.  See what these leaders are doing.

Workplace Charging

Electric vehicle charging at work helps employees who drive have a zero-emission commute.

Employee programs spotlight vehicle options, provide incentives and offer charging.

ZEVs in fleets reduce operating costs while cutting air and noise pollution.

Outreach events and accessible charging extend ZEV benefits community-wide.

Supply Chain

Encouraging suppliers to use ZEVs ensures that their benefits extend operation-wide.

Helping Others

MassEVolves participants spotlight their work to help others on the path to zero carbon transportation.

Clean Vehicles in Massachusetts

The transportation sector emits 40% of the greenhouse gas emissions in Massachusetts, the single largest source and the only source that continues to grow.

As part of a bi-coastal regional collaboration aimed at rapid adoption of the cleanest vehicles, MA has committed to placing at least 300,000 ZEVs on the road by 2025.

If all 5.03M cars registered in MA were ZEVs, drivers could save up to $5 billion in fuel and maintenance costs as well as reduced electric bills for all customers.

Participate in MassEVolves

Participants in MassEVolves establish an internal ZEV Action Team that develops and implements a ZEV Action Plan outlining their contributions to the push for zero carbon transportation in Massachusetts.
